Welcome to our new staff!
We'd like to introduce two new staff to you!
First, we welcome Pastor Dave Rau. Pastor Dave Rau serves as pastor at St James Lutheran Church in Portage, MI. He will serve as our pastor as long as the position of pastor is vacant at Peace. He will help us navigate the process of searching for a new pastor. Please feel free to reach out to him with pastoral questions or issues that you might want to discuss. Second, we welcome Shelly Wedge. Shelly Wedge is serving as our administrative assistant/secretary during our vacancy. Shelly has been part of Peace since 2014. Her daughter, Ellise, has been learning to serve as a musician. Shelly will help the congregation carry out its administrative work. Her main responsibilities will be:
- service outline - we will keep using a service outline; Shelly will make it for us.
- service slides - Shelly will update the service slides for our use
- weekly news - Shelly will keep the congregation informed of goings on through the weekly news (print, email, or text). If you aren't signed up for our news, be sure to do so. There is plenty going on at Peace during this interim! https://peace.breezechms.com/form/news
